Haus Sondermann Restaurant in Velbert

I would like to praise Ms. Lippe and the entire team. My wife and I have been guests at Haus Sondermann several times. During the Corona period, we picked up our lunch there every Sunday. The portions were very generous and delicious. You can recommend Haus Sondermann with a clear conscience. We will definitely continue to be loyal. Ms. Lippe, keep it up !!!!

This year's family goose dinner took place in the beautiful ambience of our dining room. The prepared goose from the Sondermann house was presented totally delicious along with side dishes in two party buffet warming bowls. Everything could be arranged over the phone and picked up at a fair price.

It was delicious again, even in these times. We ordered a whole goose (4 people) to pick it up. Despite being picked up and on the way home, the goose was hot and delicious. We found out that delivery would also have been possible. The side dish, which consisted of red cabbage, dumplings, sauce, baked apples and lettuce, was plentiful and also very tasty. Price performance also once again unique. We can only recommend it.

Waited 20 minutes for drinks, food totally cold and not of good quality. It used to be a lot better. Won't come back because the food is just not enough.

Almost everything just ready meals, service was a complete disaster. The ordered drinks were often forgotten and sometimes had to be picked up by yourself. There was a coffee pot but no cups. Most of the dishes were not picked up. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED.

After waiting well over 60 minutes for food, we left. The drinks and the salad were only delivered after 30-45 minutes. If you asked several times, you were not told how long it would take or whether we would get anything at all. I don't work in catering, but in my opinion you could have asked in the kitchen whether the food is already being prepared or not. Thanks & never again

I ate spare ribs with coleslaw and dip with garlic bread. The spare ribs were very tough and often not off the bone as it should be, not well seasoned. The garlic bread was frozen baguette. My wife's vegetable plate was with peas, carrots, asparagus pieces that were already brownish and cauliflower. With hollandaise sauce. Very clear . The praise goes to the mushroom soup which was creamy and flavorful.

We have just been there. Nice place. The dishes were delicious. The service was great. The price / performance ratio was absolutely right. The card promises some classics. We'll go there more often. Easily accessible from Dönberg. Thank you and see you soon

Terrace very nice. Food very tasty. But I have to bring time with me when I go there. It all takes longer than in other restaurants.

Super Service. Very nice location. Especially for celebrations and families. A playground is also available. The rooms are solid and clean. Like every time a pleasure

The waitresses are always friendly and try very hard to look after the guests quickly and well. Unfortunately, there are always far too few waitresses and cellars working during peak hours so that there are long waiting times or some things are simply forgotten. Here you just want more support to relieve the great staff, especially in the high temperatures.

I really can't understand most of the reviews here! The food was just bad for a restaurant with supposedly such good reviews. Have already eaten better quality in one or the other snack bar. Service was nice and friendly, but also overwhelmed. Not to be recommended from my personal point of view!

Nice Hotel, nothing fancy but it has everything one needs, including a great view towards the river.

Very simple family business. Simple, self-designed rooms and ok breakfast buffet. However, good value for money in the hotel.

Bad food quality, tbh only convenience food. Waiter/waitress could not handle more than 5 guests at a time. The place has no ambience or style, looks the same like 30 years ago.
